So...Seven

Just like that we found ourselves in a new year and with a seven year old in the house.
S.E.V.E.N
How did that happen?

A nice stash of pressies

 Reading the gift tag
 Others enjoyed the wrapping paper
And caught up with her Ugly Monkey <3
The SEVEN year old is losing his patience with photo taking these days
 Everyone approved of the cake

So...Rather late than Never

I can hardly believe we are already well into February, it seems like just yesterday we were celebrating Christmas, and with that thought it dawned on me I still hadn't sorted through all our photos from then.  So without further ado here they are.

We had a lovely time catching up with family on both sides.
And had a chance to indulge with Noni's famous lemon meringue

There were presents & the littlest got to meet everyone
There were small visitors too
 Lovely evenings outside

We visited more family and of course that meant more presents

Nom nom nom, what could it be? Hurrah!!!

Dad with his little girl <3
The children absolutely loved the jacuzzi
And finally Christmas morning arrived and with it even more loot
Excited and sleepy faces waiting for the festivities to begin
Opening presents...

...is serious work!

Father Christmas' elves helped hand out the gifts

Interesting books on lawn and choccies were received

But not everyone was over joyed with their gifts from Santa
The older children helped their baby sister with her presents
And just like that it was done and time to play
 ...and watch plays

So...Bits and Bobs

Just a few random photos taken over the last little while...

Evie playing dress up with her pup
He wasn't phased at all and loved the attention
I found this lovely old slow cooker crock pot while we were on holiday.  I've never used a slow cooker before so it's been fun trying it out, our bone broth, stew and chicken in it have all turned out delicious...I can see us using it a lot in winter!
We visited with friends at the Botanical Gardens
The tree whose shade we were sitting under had the most amazing coloured bark.
 Story time with some visitors
A smile from my little bug
Pretty cloth bum...the nappy was a much appreciated gift from a friend.
A yummy meal mainly from the garden, with the exception of the meat
Enjoying a splash in the hot weather
