The weather has been quite changeable and I've enjoyed watching it roll in over the hill towards us, sheets of rain, or mist, rainbows, storm clouds and beautiful sunshine. No camera can do it justice, but I couldn't resist taking a photo or two
Early morning cuddles
Conversations with Dad
And someone lost copious amounts of teeth
We had fun with some funny glasses
And lots of bed time stories and snuggles have been had
I revamped a cupboard for all my recipe books
And while hanging our pictures and mirrors on random hooks that were left in the walls by the previous owners I was inspired with what to do on one of our dining room walls...this is the inspiration, hopefully one day I'll be able to update with what I want to do!
Various arts and crafts were done
A first bubble bath was had...we don't do things like this very often because I prefer to avoid the harsh soaps but the children had a ball.
We baked a cake and had a small book party to celebrate a delivery of new books
We spent time outside, Dad dismantling an old makeshift tree house, while the baby hung out in the swing.
And of course there are always chickens
Everyone had a haircut except for me, I need to book with the hairdresser next door still - Mom, when can I come over?
We rescued a blind snake from our fish pond and had fun examining it and seeing how small it's eyes were and how hard it is to differentiate each end. They are harmless so everyone enjoyed feeling how smooth it's scales were before we released it again.
I love spotting the crowned cranes on our land
How beautiful are grenadilla flowers?
Sorting buttons
It wasn't long before everyone else joined in
I finally finished knitting the second bunny for my big girl
Strike a pose
A boy and his dog
And that's it for now, hopefully I will have the next lot up before the end of the month, adieu and keep well!
